Community Guidelines

A very warm welcome to the Parenting Matters Community!

This welcoming Community has been designed to be a supportive, safe space for parents who are doing the Parenting Matters course. We hope you will feel comfortable to share your experiences, learn, grow and maximise the value of the course. This space should be a hugely important tool for you to get the most value from the course. Even if you feel shy at first, do follow the discussions and comment when you feel ready to do so.

To meet the collective goals of our community, it’s important that all members feel safe and supported. So to help everyone have the best possible experience, our Community Guidelines are as follows:

We would appreciate it if you could:

  • Introduce yourself to the group as soon as you can.
  • Feel free to post questions and start discussions on any topics relating to Parenting Matters and the online course
  • Treat others as you would treat them in real life
  • Be polite and communicate with respect
  • Respect the privacy of other Community members. We ask that all usernames and profile pictures are anonymous.
  • Our Community Manager is available for support and any questions you may have. We are here to help.

For the confidence and safety of the community please avoid:

  • Sharing personal or private information
  • Posting messages that don’t relate to the course or parenting
  • Posting promotional content e.g. links to other businesses
  • Personal attacks, trolling and abuse will not be tolerated
  • Posting explicit, rude or aggressive content

In the unlikely event of violation of these guidelines, we will take action to protect other members of the group. This might include a warning or in the event of extreme or repeat behavior, the member may be removed from the Community.

If you experience or witness any behavior that doesn’t follow our community guidelines, please report it, and/or contact our Community Manager directly. All reports are kept confidential.

We hope you enjoy the Community and find it helpful and engaging.

Thank you
